Navigating life can be a tricky process. At times you may feel stuck, unsure of what to do or unsure of who you are. This may be brought on by different experiences through life, or just a feeling you’ve had for sometime. I have been there and was fortunate enough to have someone help me. This is what I love to help people do, navigate their life to discover who they are and find strength within.
Whomever I am working with, I start where they are at, focusing on various areas and aspects of life to help figure out the direction to move forward. I use EMDR to help work through traumatic experiences and use tools from CBT and DBT to help you achieve what you want. I work with issues with confidence, self identity/worth, marriage, trauma, depression and anxiety.

Being human is hard—and being in relationships can be even harder. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with couples, families, and individuals who find themselves stuck in painful patterns they never intended. Whether you’re caught in ongoing conflict, struggling to connect with your partner, navigating challenges with your child, or just feeling overwhelmed by the weight of life—I’m here to help you feel heard, supported, and not alone.
My work centers on helping people find clarity, connection, and healing in the places that matter most: your relationships, your sense of self, and your story. I specialize in working with couples facing communication breakdowns or emotional distance, families who are stretched thin by parenting stress or conflict, and individuals wrestling with anxiety, depression, self-worth, or the echoes of a difficult family past.
Many of my clients come to me carrying the quiet but heavy belief that they’re not good enough. They feel like they’re failing—as parents, as partners, or simply as people. Sometimes they’ve spent years trying to hold it all together on the outside while struggling deeply on the inside. I create a space where it’s safe to slow down, be honest, and begin untangling those deep-rooted feelings of inadequacy, shame, or unworthiness.

Hi, I’m Hallie! If you’ve been carrying the weight of relationship stress, grief, self criticism or doubt — it can feel exhausting to face it all on your own. Therapy offers a place to slow down, feel supported, and begin the process of healing. My goal is to walk alongside you as you find new ways to cope, grow, and move toward the life and relationships you want.
I have significant experience working with teens, young adults, women, and couples navigating complex issues. My areas of specialization include couples counseling, perinatal and women’s mental health, trauma, self worth, and anxiety/depression. I tailor my approach to fit the needs of my clients through strength based approaches. I am certified in EMDR therapy and am Gottman Level 1 trained. I often draw from methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Attachment Theory to support healing and lasting change.
On a more personal note, I genuinely love being a therapist! I consider my role of sitting with another person in vulnerable moments to be one of the greatest honors of my life. I truly believe when individuals, couples, and families choose connection, they have the power to change the world, even if it’s just the world around them.

I genuinely love helping all individuals learn new skills, gain perspective and find empowerment to manage their emotional health. I primarily work using a combination of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy (SFT).
I’m especially passionate about supporting college-age women, new moms or seasoned mothers as they navigate challenges with their mental or emotional health. These are prime times to develop healthy coping skills for burnout, depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, spiritual distress and other mental health challenges.
Outside of my practice, I love playing with my little girls, relaxing with my husband, laughing with friends, and chasing my latest hobby or goal.
Regardless of your age, gender, or current challenges, I adapt my approach to help you walk towards the person that you want to be and the life you want to live. I have so much hope for your healing.

Life presents challenges that can induce feelings of overwhelm or uncertainty. Whether you are a child developing emotional regulation skills, an adult navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief, therapy can provide a secure environment for you to be heard and supported.
My background as an elementary school teacher provided me with experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities. Subsequently, my years as a hospice social worker further enhanced my work with individuals and families during periods of loss and life’s most arduous transitions. These experiences instilled in me a strong belief in meeting individuals where they are, with compassion and respect for their unique journeys.
In therapy, I draw upon a range of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, grounding techniques, and mindfulness. I employ these tools in a manner that aligns with your specific needs and objectives. Together, we will progress at your own pace to cultivate confidence, facilitate healing, and establish meaningful steps toward a stronger sense of self.
Outside of my professional responsibilities, I find solace in reading, riding my e-bike, being outdoors, and spending time with my husband, family and grandchildren. Nature holds a special place in my heart as a source of rejuvenation and reflection, and it serves as an inspiration for the balance I strive to maintain in my work.
