LAMFT
Hello, my name is Macady Birch, as a Marriage and Family Therapist I have a deep commitment to supporting couples, individuals, and families who find themselves stuck. Whether you’re navigating a tough season, feeling stuck in communication patterns or conflict, or struggling to find the way forward, I’m here to make sure you feel seen, understood, and supported.
In couples work, we’ll focus on building practical tools to help you communicate more effectively, manage conflict in healthy ways, and deepen your emotional connection. I work collaboratively to help you develop practical skills that deepen emotional intimacy and mutual respect.
I also enjoy working with individuals and families on challenges like self-worth, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. I value meeting each person where they are, with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique story. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where my clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make positive change.

At times, life can feel incredibly heavy and overwhelm our best efforts. Anxiety grows louder. Relationships feel strained. Old wounds resurface in ways that surprise us. Or maybe everything looks “fine” on the outside, but inside you feel incredibly alone, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are anymore. I believe that many struggles are rooted not in personal failure, but in unmet needs, unprocessed pain, and protective patterns that once made sense. Therapy is a space to slow down, rediscover your inner worth, and move towards a life that feels secure and fulfilling.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with teens, individuals, couples, and families who feel stuck in patterns that leave them disconnected, overwhelmed, and hopeless. I work with those navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, grief, sexual concerns, and couple and family challenges. I deeply enjoy working with couples and believe that relationships have a special way of bringing both our deepest joy and our deepest pain to the surface. As such, a core part of my work is creating healing through safe, attuned relationships – including the one we build together in therapy.
I provide an authentic, compassionate space where you can feel deeply seen, understood, and accepted. I’m not one to just help you tread water, I challenge my clients to joyful ways to live and connect. Each client and their situation is unique, and I tailor treatment to the person, not the problem. I draw from attachment-based, emotion-focused, systemic, and trauma-informed models. I have unique training in Gottman Couple’s Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a primarily non-verbal method of processing trauma.
Being a therapist is a huge joy and honor in my life, and it is so rewarding to see personal and relational growth. Outside the therapy room, I’m a musician and avid crafter. I love cooking, baking, and experimenting with new recipes. I’m a work in progress myself, and I strive to bring authenticity, warmth, and humor wherever I go.
